Rather Be Wrong Ronacks Motorcycle Club Debra Kayn 9781541373778 Books

Debra Kayn has this ability to take an idea, a thought and turn it into an amazing story filled with depth, passion and heart. I have been a fan of hers for quite some time, but have only been voicing my opinion on her books the past couple years.
Debra’s new release from the Ronacks Motorcycle Club, “Rather Be Wrong” told the tale of Rod Lawson and Heather Jones. Readers were introduced to Rod in “..Or Something” and Heather in “Don’t Say It”. If you haven’t read either, that’s OK, you will not get lost in the connection or circumstances behind how Rod and Heather met or the secondary characters of the club. I do suggest that you read them though, both books are fantastic reads with complex men and the women who lay claim to them.
Throughout the book, I kept finding myself admiring Heather, she never allowed herself to become a victim of her circumstances. She is strong and confident. She keeps her head when times are challenging. She also keeps her hurt inside. Heather could be anyone of us reading her story. Heather was not raised in the biker world, but she was born to belong there.
Rod Lawson is the Vice President of the Ronacks Motorcycle Club. Rod is an enigma for me. I liked him from the moment I met him in “..Or Something”. He is one of those characters you can’t help but be drawn to, a man who you know has a back story, a man that all of us girls want to meet and help soothe whatever may be hurting him. (especially after gazing at book cover, WHEW!) For me I thought of men like Bantorus’s Remy and Lee, or Moroad’s Cam, Merk and Jacko. Tough guys that have a good and soft side that only the right woman will ever see. Rod regards those surrounding him, those who have his back as his family. His past has proven this to be fact.
In typical Ms. Kayn fashion, she kept throwing curve balls at you while you were reading, never truly allowing the reader to get “comfortable” with the plot or dialogue. A couple snippets to previous books from Ms. Kayn let us know what is going on with some of our favorite or not so favorite bikers.
I am a person that reads a book from cover to cover, I don’t want to miss something. I’m glad I have this desire to do so, I truly loved the story, I did, but the part that truly touched me and made me catch my breath was at the end, in Debra’s letter to her readers. Thank you Debra for being you, for being someone we can relate to, someone real. You have strength, determination and courage, you lead by example and you show us we can all overcome what life throws at us. Thank you for continuing to take the high road. Thank you for telling us your stories and reminding us to stop, to step back and consider the whole picture before we judge.. Bravo Madam!

I love the new series! I really enjoy how she brings the other two MC into play within this series. The characters are loveable and have their own quirks. This was the best of the series so far. I have book 4 but haven't started it. You won't be sorry.
This is the third in the series of the Ronacks and I have enjoyed all so far. I like Debra Kayn style of writing and have read several other books of hers. Although I think in this series the characters seem to be a bit more predictable and the women they end up obvious.
I just don't know if I can read the next book. The only thing I didn't like was i cringed every time I read the name Dukie because it sounds identical to what we called poop when I was a kid. Since the next book is about his mom I figure his name will appear alot. LoL
This was positively incredible. Lots of things going on here !! Hot bikers !! Crazy man on the loose !! Lots of love !! Heather and Rod are such an awesome couple. Love this series !! Recommend it to anyone who loves a good MC read !! Looking forward to Mel and Raelyn's story. I have a feeling it's going to be the best one yet !! And that's saying a lot !!
This series just gets better and better! I've hit and missed a few of Debra Kayn's books in the past but will follow this series to the end!
I could not put this book down.I really enjoyed Rod and Heather's chemistry. There were twist and turn suspense not knowing who hurt Rod.Ms Kayn has away of drawing you in .And she doesn't let you down.I really enjoy all of her books and this new series. If you like hard strong men and the women who love them you will love this book.
I loved this story. Of course I liked the motorcycle family but this book was a little different than the rest of the books. This story had a dog as part of the main story. I loved how the dog was a stray and little by little warmed up to the main character, Rod. The dog trusted no one but Rod. Heather came into Rod life and it took a long time for the dog, Girl, to warm up to Heather. The dog ended up being a hero. But this story is much more than a dog story. Rod has one crazy brother!
